About Us

Kawerau Amateur Swimming Club started in 1973. We operate from the Maurie Kjar Memorial Swimming Pool during the summer season. Our aim is to make swimming affordable and available to all in our community. Our emphasis is on having fun but our principle objective is to foster and promote water safety through a wide range of programmes from Learn to Swim through to Masters.
